Tapered Gaskets

WEDA PUMP Tapered Gasket is designed for use with the WEDA PUMP Hose and Coupling. To complete one full joint between two hoses, two couplings and two gaskets are required. 

Unlike normal, flat gaskets, the tapered gasket is centred into position by the hose itself. The inside tube of the hose will be pressed up against the taper, covering any unevenness of the cut hose end.

The slurry will wear down the inside of the gasket flush with the hose, creating a full-bore transition, free of turbulence. The fluting of the gasket will make sure the joint remains leak-proof.
