The Submersible drain pumps type RL4040 (RL4044 and RL4045) formerly known as L474 and L475, will be replaced by the RL4140 (RL4144 and the RL4145)

The changes in design are very small. As earlier the RL4040 has got a lot of components which are the same as being used in the RL2030, The hydraulic parts and the motor differ. 

The motor dimension has been different which also has effected the inner casing. The RL2030 has been produced in two versions, the single phase and the three phase. The single phase version has always had a longer motor.

Now  we have designed a three phase motor version which has the same dimensions as the RL2030 single phase versions. Therefore it is possible to take out the necessary power for the bigger RL4140 and use the same inner casing for both pump versions. Please observe, as earlier,  that the RL4140 will only be available in a three phase version.
